A group of Omo Ranch Road Wineries joining together to introduce visitors to the world class wines, beautiful scenery and warm hospitality on the southern end of the Fair Play AVA.  

Located in Fair Play, once a destination for gold miners, now home to another kind of gold, where the terroir and climate join together to create wines that are a joy to the senses.   

AUTUMN ON OMO

We invite you to celebrate Autumn with the first event for the Open on Omo wineries on September 23rd, 11AM to 5PM.  All wineries will be offering complimentary wine tasting, food pairings and 15% discount on all wine purchases.  

PARTICIPATING WINERIES

Mirador Winery has created an experience for those who want to deepen their knowledge of wine while discovering the region in a relaxing setting.  The experience will allow visitors to share conversations with the mirador winemakers, sample wine and feast on Sicilian woodfired pizza while learning the importance of the terroir, the history of the vines and the techniques used during the wine making process. We look forward to seeing you at Mirador for the Autumn on Omo event.

Lost Arrow Ranch Winery, hosted by our friends and neighbors at Mirador Winery for this event, we will be featuring an assortment of fine chocolates paired with distinctive craft wines.  Enjoy a panoramic view of Flat Creek Valley and the surrounding vineyards from beneath the shade of centuries-old Valley Oaks while our winemaker weaves together the stories and experience of Lost Arrow’s wines.

Mellowood Vineyard, home to the only Kenyan winery owners in the Sierra Foothills, is serving KK’s famous Kenyan BBQ and Mariam’s signature Kachumbari, a Kenyan tomato and cucumber salad, both created with unique spices from Kenya.  Enjoy a flight of award-winning wines and barrel taste future vintages. We offer air-conditioned seating in our charming country tasting room and outdoor seating on the patio or in the picnic grove under the oaks overlooking the Syrah vineyard.  Try your hand at a game of corn hole in the grove and chat with the owners and winemaker about their journey from Kenya to Fair Play and Mellowood Winery or take a hike up Zin Hill in the vineyard while enjoying a taste of our Estate Zinfandel.

Golden Leaves, at the east end of the Autumn on Omo wineries, is the perfect start or end for your celebration with paired wine and food flights featuring appetizers and desserts with bubbly, dry rose, and red wines. Relax on the deck or in our spacious tasting room with background music.  Take a walk in the vineyard, taste some wine grapes and chat with the winemaker.

Tickets to this event are complimentary in exchange for your name and email address and your consent to join the email lists of the participating wineries.  By entering your email address in return for tickets, you agree to have your email address shared with all Autumn on Omo participating wineries.

There are no reservations required, you simply pick a starting winery and then you can visit the rest of the wineries at any time that suits you.
